At CHSC we do not turn away families in financial need. Ministry of Children and Family Development Child Care Subsidies are available to families whose children are enrolled in one of our programs licensed under Vancouver Coastal Health (3 years to school age) and multi-age for out of school care.
If the Child Care Subsidy is not available to your family, or your family may need additional financial support in combination with the subsidy, you may apply on behalf of your child for bursary support from Children’s Hearing & Speech Centre of BC’s bursary program. Bursaries are renewable annually.
Children’s Hearing & Speech Centre of BC maintains a policy that all children who are deaf and hard of hearing, regardless of a family’s ability to pay fees, may be eligible to access our programs and services.
Scholarships and bursaries are available for qualifying families including Canadian citizens or landed immigrants, and resident non-citizens holding work permits or student visas. Please inquire for further details.
