Andrea is the parent of a Children’s Hearing and Speech Centre graduate, and a passionate communications and engagement practitioner. Andrea began her career as a journalist, reporting on local issues and stories in the Vancouver area, and has more than 16 years of experience in engagement and communications across a variety of high-profile projects in BC and Canada. Andrea's experience spans the natural resource sector, transportation and infrastructure, sports and entertainment, and the health and social services sector. Andrea holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of British Columbia and a Diploma of Technology in Broadcast and Media Communications from BCIT. Andrea’s daughter Alice completed the First Words and Preschool programs at CHSC and is now a happy elementary student at her neighbourhood French Immersion school.
