Marketing & Development Officer

Early Childhood Educator

To support our Centre based program we are looking for an Early Childhood Educator – Classroom Teaching Assistant and Morning Music Leader. Reporting to the Principal, the licensed Early Childhood Educator (ECE) will work directly with classroom teachers of the deaf and hard of hearing within the Children’s Hearing and Speech Centre. Our programs provide high quality care and creative programming for children with hearing loss and other complex needs. Working in collaboration with Teachers of the Deaf, Speech Language Pathologists and other ECE’s, this position is responsible for supporting children in the Centre’s licensed and academic programs as well as running the Centre’s Out of School Care program.

Children at the Centre are typically aged 3 years to grade 3. ECE’s will ensure that children are well supervised and will assist the classroom teacher in providing developmentally and academically appropriate programming in keeping with the Centre’s listening and spoken language philosophy.

The Out of School Care leader is responsible for providing programming and supervision of children after school, Monday to Friday from 3.00 to 4.45pm.
